Today I wanted to share one of my all time favorite flipbooks I ever made.  <3 I had so much creating this "Alice in Wonderland" flipbook for a creative mail swap I participated in.  Almost everything is completely hand painted.  :)  If you would like to learn more about my process please check out the video I included.  I hope you have an amazing day!!!

Hello Lovelies! 

It*s been a very long time since I*ve blogged and it feels great to be back.  :)  Since the last time we talked/shared a few fun and amazing things have happened.  Yay!!!  Lol, Also some not so great things, but you never know, in time those instances may turn into something positive... we*ll see. 

 

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great summer or enjoying the cooler weather if you are one of my Australian friends.  <3

 

What have you been up to?  Something that I*ve been active in lately is the new facebook group for Little Hot Tamale called "Little Hot Tamale and Friends."  So far it has been a blast, I*ve met so many fabulous crafters and friends from all over the world.  We have a monthly challenge and swap that all the members can participate in.  This month we tried to use crepe paper on a project or embellishment.  Seriously, I had no idea there were so many cool things we could make with crepe paper, thank you for all the awesome members that have participated so far.  :)  As for the swap, we just had our partners assigned for "Mini Pocket Letters."  Everyone seems so excited, myself included.  Along with our monthly projects, it is a great community to share and meet other crafty friends.  If you have a crafty YouTube Channel or Instagram I encourage all the group members to share their accounts.  There is also an area where you can share if you are currently hosting a giveaway on your YouTube Channel.  I know this month 3 members are hosting one.  :)  Ohh... I almost forgot, I also created a fun summer theme free printable to celebrate the new group and summer.

FREE Little Chick Stationery Printable

I hope you are having a fantastic February.  Spring is just around the corner, yay!  I absolutely can*t wait because I*m ready for warmer weather and the activities that accompany it.  :)

Gizmo Scrapbook Layout: Let*s Get Sketchy

 

Hello Lovelies!

Today I have another cat layout...imagine that, lol.  This one is of Gizmo laying on my lap, happy as can be.  <3 hehe, I made Alfredo snap a bunch of pictures because she looked SO cute.  He wasn*t too thrilled because we were watching a movie.  :p

 

My layout is based off the sketch designed by Brenshevia for Let*s Get Sketchy.  I absolutely loved working from the sketch this week, especially since there were three photos as the focal point.  The paper line I used was "Hello Love" by Crate Paper and gold foil heart tissue paper from Target.  :)  I tried to keep the layout clean and simple like the sketch.

No! Scrapbook Layout- Let*s Get Sketchy

Hello Lovelies!

It has been awhile since I worked from a sketch, but I was inspired to by Jess*s sketch from Let*s Get Sketchy, January week 3.  I thought it looked so fun with all the drippings and words that I couldn*t pass it up.  :)  After flipping through all my December photos I kept gravitating toward this goofy photo of Pocoyo and Sally on the way to the "North Pole."  You can see the excitement on her face, lol.  Apparently Grumpy Cat is Pocoyo*s idol, so I thought this layout would be purrfect. 

 

My Current Planner Setup and Aideen*s Giveaway

Today I wanted to share how I setup my Personal Large Mint Kikki K Planner.  This is my first time ever owning such an expensive planner.  Before I thought about investing in a binder clip planner, I dedicatedly used my 2015 Target planner for an entire year to make sure I would use it.  For Christmas Alfredo was so nice and got me the mint Kikki K planner, or as my boyfriend calls it, "kit kit kitty planner," lol.  Thank you again Chinchilla, you are such a sweetheart. 

 

My planner is dedicated to my hobbies and date night because for the most part my day is quite routine except for my free time.  I stayed away from the typical weekly spread and focused on projects I want to work on, possible date ideas, incoming/outgoing mail, and roughly when I want to complete said things.  :) Then I have the freedom to quickly pick and choose what I want depending on my mood. 

 

Here is a glimpse of my newly setup hobby planner before I filled it with all my messy handwriting.  

 

Scrapbook Layout: Purrfect Gift

I*m just now scrapping my December photographs.  Originally I had planned to make a December Daily, a page for each day of the month, after the holidays when I had more time. 

Well...

After evaluating my journaling and photos I had a little problem.  For the most part I was good about keeping a journal entry everyday, BUT most of my photos were of my kitten or I just forgot to take pictures.  oops..

 

My new approach, revert back to traditional scrapbooking (12x12) and focus on stories that are important to me in no particular order.  I*m also going to mix in project life sleeves for tidbits like Q&A and lists. 

 

Enough talking about my little dilemma, lol, on to more fun things.  :)
